The November Art Hop invites Kalamazoo to fill its mind and heart on Friday, November 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. With this month’s theme of Knowledge, this Art Hop highlights the many ways creative expression shapes our understanding of the world. Forty-six stops and more than 175 artists from the greater Kalamazoo area will open their doors and share paintings, ceramics, photography, writing, music, sculpture, and inventive forms of storytelling that spark curiosity and discovery.
This month, the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo also encourages our community to share knowledge through kindness. Art Hop is partnering with Ministry with Community to collect new underwear, socks, and warm outerwear for individuals and families who are facing challenges and crises as cold weather approaches. Visitors can learn about resources available to those in need while contributing essential items that bring comfort and hope.
