Lavendar Home Project Exhibit Opening Reception

Join us during the May Art Hop, Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5 - 8 pm,  to view this thought-provoking exhibit. The exhibit focuses on the meaning of physical shelter beyond physical form, centered around queer communities and methods of home building that exist outside of Western
cultural constructions of homemaking and homelife in three sections: WELCOME HOME | Public vs. Private, PORTRAITS | Queer Homes, and CLOSET | Revelations Archived. The LAVENDER HOME PROJECT explores the meaning of ‘home’ through a queer lens and a sense of community.
