Lushh is a non-genre specific band made up of students in Western Michigan University's Jazz Studies Program. Known to draw influences from Kneebody, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Snarky Puppy, Lushh frequently performs in and around the greater Kalamazoo area and has begun to branch out in Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor. This year, Lushh was named the Best Blues/Pop/Rock Group in Downbeat Magazine's 2017 Student Awards.
