Assorted Casebound Books
A FREE exploration of bookbinding for students in grades 8–12 at the KBAC studios.
The Teen Book Arts Program originated as a three-part exploration of Papermaking, Printmaking, and Bookbinding, offered free of charge to students in grades 8-12 each Spring.
The Teen Book Arts Mini was added in 2024, featuring a single fall workshop – still free of charge for students in grades 8-12 with advance registration!
Casebound Journal, Instructor: Rachel Stickney
Wed. Oct. 7 | 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Case binding is the classic hard-cover book, typically offered in much longer sessions. With pre-constructed book blocks (the pages), we can concentrate on creating the case (the covers and spine) using decorative papers and bookcloth, then assemble your journal! No previous bookbinding experience is required to create your own hardcover journal that will impress your friends, family (and yourself)!
