This week-long day camp provides a unique opportunity for students to gain chamber and ensemble experience by working with the best professional musicians in Southwest Michigan.
The workshop is designed for students ages 12–15 whose instruments are brass, string, woodwind, piano or percussion. Daily activities include chamber ensemble rehearsal, theory, composition, and music history classes, as well as a full orchestra rehearsal.
Most importantly, students learn life lessons through chamber music instruction, such as the value of accountability and independent learning, while building confidence through daily performance among their peers.
CAMP SCHEDULE
Sunday: 3:00 – 5:00 PM
Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Students provide their own sack lunch)

EFA grants: Available through January 22, 2026
Early Bird Discount: $280 before April 1, 2026
Registration Deadline: $300 by May 1, 2026
Audition Submission Deadline: MAY 15, 2026
Payment Policy:
Class fees must be paid IN FULL one month prior to the session start date. Contact the office if you need a payment plan. A $50 administrative fee will be withheld for workshop withdrawals made less than two weeks before the session starts.
Orchestral instrumentation needs will be determined after the audition process is complete. If the instrumentation for the orchestra does not include your instrument, you will receive a full refund.
Students must provide their own band/orchestra instrument.
