    63rd Annual Members' Show South Haven Center for the Arts 63rd Annual Members' Show Presented by South Haven Center for the Arts at South Haven Center for the Arts May 3-June 16, 2013 The South Haven Center for the Arts’ Member Show is an annual exhibit that highlights the talents of our membership. All members are encouraged to participate in this exhibit, there is no entry fee to participate and members can show up to three pieces, simply join and show your work! The majority of the works on display are for sale.

    06/21/13- 08/04/13	Formed/Fired: Ceramics Invitational South Haven Center for the Arts Formed/Fired: Ceramics Invitational Presented by South Haven Center for the Arts at South Haven Center for the Arts June 21-August 4, 2013 Opening Reception June 21st (5-7pm) Formed/Fired - highlights the talents of many Michigan ceramic artists. The exhibit will introduce the visitor to a wide range of ceramic materials, forming methods, surface treatment and glazing, as well as various firing techniques. If you are curious about how all this works, there will be education materials available to help inform the viewer of the science behind ceramic art.     08/09/13- 09/22/13	Wild & Wooly South Haven Center for the Arts Wild & Wooly Presented by South Haven Center for the Arts at South Haven Center for the Arts August 9-September 22, 2013 Opening Reception August 9th (5-7pm) This collection of work by fiber artist Barb Bare is comprised of traditional wet felted wall pieces and primitive rug hooking that are both abstract and realistic in style. Barb Bare has worked in fiber for over 30 years, taking her first weaving class at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in the 1970’s. Bare works the entire process from raising and feeding the sheep on her farm, to sheering them for the wool; the wool is then cleaned, spun...
    09/27/13- 11/10/13	4th Annual Regional Juried Show South Haven Center for the Arts 4th Annual Regional Juried Show Presented by South Haven Center for the Arts at South Haven Center for the Arts September 27-November 10, 2013 Opening Reception September 27th (5-7pm) The show, will be the fourth hosted juried exhibit by the South Haven Center for the Arts, is open to artists living in the Great Lake States of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan, and working in any two dimensional or three dimensional media. Registration will begin in mid March and run thru late August. Prizes will include a $500 first place, $250 second place, and a $100 third place. This years’ juror is John Miller of...

    11/15/13- 12/08/13	27th Annual Mistletoe Market South Haven Center for the Arts 27th Annual Mistletoe Market Presented by South Haven Center for the Arts at South Haven Center for the Arts November 15-December 8, 2013 Preview Party November 15th (5-8pm) $20 per person The 28th annual holiday boutique is one of the Art Centers biggest fundraiser events each year. This year the South Haven Center for the Arts will have over 40 participating local artists and crafters on display for you to purchase their goods and kick off the holiday season. All arts and crafts are for sale and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Art Center.

Experience color and form like never before while asking yourself how’d they do that? The exhibit will have a sculptural focus that pushes the boundaries and possibilities of physics.
