Serious Music, Serious Fun!

Since 1980 the Kalamazoo Children’s Chorus has been providing outstanding choral music to our community.

We’re always looking for new ways to expose our singers to new music. KCC’s young artists range in age from third graders to high school seniors and sing in six different choirs.

We’ve sung with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, The Kalamazoo Singers and the Kalamazoo Oratorio Society. We have sung in four operas and perform in The Nutcracker Ballet every two years. Over the years we’ve shared the stage with:

Numazu Boys and Girls Choir (Japan) Bloemfontein Children’s Choir (South Africa) St. Mary’s Children’s Chorus (Canada) The Young Peoples Chorus of New York City ( America)

Concert Tours

From Japan to Ireland, London to Vienna. We’ve sung with world-class chorus’ from around the world both at home and abroad. In June 2013, we sang in the land of Rossini and Puccini on a concert tour of Italy.  In 2019, KCC will travel to Costa Rica.

KCC Vision At KCC, we believe that all children deserve access to high quality singing experiences and we are committed to promoting choral singing as a life-long activity. We envision a future where choral singing is considered a vital part of the fabric of our community and where we provide a bridge to cultural understanding through music.

The Kalamazoo Children’s Chorus: “building our community, one voice at a time.”
