The Caribbean as a crucible of the African Diaspora has long been in dialogue with the rest of African America. Join Dr. Kristina Wirtz, linguistic and cultural antrhopologist and WMU Professor of Spanish, as she provides historical and cultural context for understanding the importance of diverse forms of black spiritualiy throughout the Caribbean.
